Dr. Lindsey Dougherty has >3,000 dives over 25+ years in 40+ countries.
She has a PhD in Marine Biology from UC Berkeley and teaches Tropical Marine Ecology at CU Boulder.
​
She taught scuba in Zanzibar and her Indo-Pacific research on the flashing "disco clam" has been featured in >50 news stories including the New York Times, CNN, & National Geographic.
​
She writes for Scientific American, is an Ikelite Ambassador, wrote a children's book called "Sam the Clam" which her mother illustrated, and is perpetually jetlagged with unabated wanderlust.
She loves being underwater, but occasionally comes up for air to photograph your furry family -
